The campaign to continue pushing for the playoffs was strong and fans were buying tickets to the final 5 games of the regular season. Another push during the campign was my 2nd commercial spot for the Dynamo. I was thrilled for the opportunity to show that most of the projects could be done in-house rather than outsourced.
I wanted to keep things pretty uniform with my first commercial spot with the use of the flying text and optical flares. To get fans pumped for the end of the regular season, I wanted to use a lot of high impact plays to show how intense these last few games are going to be. With that set in mind, I used highlights with lots of contact and frustration, all of which were building up for the team to release in dominating their opponents. This is further helped by not showing any goals scored or celebrations until the last 10 seconds of the spot.
