After six years playing at Robertson Satdium on the campus of the University of Houston, the Houston Dynamo finally get their own soccer specific stadium. Not only was it one of the ambitious stadiums to be built in MLS, but it was also the first to be built in downtown rather in the surround areas of the city.

A lot of time and preperation went into capturing the historic moment of the first game being played. I tried to capture the essense of the day, vendors preparing before doors opened, getting the perfect shot of the first kick. What stood out to me was talking with the players themselves and getting their reaction as the day drew near. I decided to keep things "Forever Orange" and lit the locker room with an orange gel to really give it that Dynamo feel.
